Since the beginning of the year the official gold rate has grown by 16.25%

May 18, 2012 (UBO) – The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official
rates of bank metals per 10 troy ounces for 01.03.2012 at: gold - UAH
123620.77 (+); silver - UAH 2195.93 (+); platinum - UAH 115549.86 (+).
Since the beginning of the year the official gold rate has grown by 16.25 percent.
The
top rate of gold to have been set by the central bank was reported on
06.09.2011 at UAH 151183.29 for 10 troy ounces (UAH 486.07 for 1 gram).
