Hans-Jurgen Heimsoeth, the press office of the Crimean Council of Ministers has reported.

"We want German businessmen to come to our country more often and invest in Crimea more actively. The Crimean government, in turn, within its authority, is doing everything it can to create a transparent and favorable environment for investors," he said.
Among priority areas for investment, Burlakov called the reform of the sanatorium and resort complex, the creation of the agricultural sector of the 21st century, the development of the innovative industry, alternative energy and transport infrastructure.
He added that a number of large-scale projects of the EU, the UNDP-led Crimea Integration and Development Program (UNDP CIDP) and other international organizations were being successfully implemented on the peninsula.
The German ambassador, in turn, proposed establishing more active cooperation between Crimea, the German development bank KfW and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in order to strengthen bilateral relations.
"We want to make our work more active and effective. We would be pleased if large investments are attracted in Crimea," the diplomat said.
In particular, Heimsoeth said that the development of wind energy was a promising area for investors. He said that one of such projects was a proposal from the German company WKN, which is planning to build two wind farms near Dzhankoy and Krasnoperekopsk.
In this regard, the ambassador invited the leadership of the Crimean government to support the implementation of projects.
Burlakov, in turn, promised to assist German investors within the authority of the Crimean government, as well as invited guests from Germany to attend a meeting of presidents of central European states, which will be held in Yalta on May 11-12.
